NAS installation

We were asked by Van Oosterom & Verhagen real estate agency to find a solution to a concurrency issue they had with their NAS infrastructure. Due to the company having up to 30 active users of the NAS we had to find a robust solution that would not interrupt the workflow of the company.

to minimize the impact of the change to the new NAS structure we opted to install the new NAS system in parallel with the old system. We then introduced a select few members of the company to the new infrastructure. Once we were confident in the new NAS infrastructure we changed all the computer systems to direct to our new NAS system overnight.

Because we did this overnight we ensured there was no disruption to the workflow. The new NAS system has multi-layer redundancy by making use of both local and external redundancy methods. The new NAS infrastructure has been live since March 2019 without failure.
